I'm There

I’m a shoulder to cry on
A person to laugh
To help you understand things
Give you advice you’ll never take.

A rock for comfort,
Just a call away
I’ll run to your house
Even in the middle of the night.

I am a support
I’ll come root you on
Just give me a second to prepare
Before your monstrous car arrives

emma!!!!!!!

she sent me this email that was like this chain about how much you mean to me.........

anyhoo, then she sent me all this stuff about our friendship, and i sent back what she meant to me. but it was like this. it was really sweet.

it's basically she is my best friend, and i'll try to do whatever i can be help her through life.

i come cheer her on at auditions, i give her advice that she sometimes never takes, and i am almost always free when she needs me and vice versa.

it's not done yet though.

It sounds like reluctant support for a drama queen in the last stanza, like a harried assistant to the stars watching the stretch Hummer pull up and muttering, "Oh, no, not this again..."

no not at all, which is interesting, but i get what you mean. emma lives walking distance away, not even a minute in the car. i was talking about one instance in particular in the last stanza.

emma is a theatre freak, but i love her for it. she had an audition at lauralton for this year's school play. a minute before she left, she called me asking me to come for support. she was freaking out. i literally got up from my chair, went straight to my mom within seconds, and she was in my driveway waiting for me. but the thing is, she called from her house phone!

I ran trying to get myself together, and tell my mom too! it was just saying, give me a little headstart, cause i never have time! plus her monstrous car is this like Secret Service sized car. The huge black thing!

so that was what the last stanza was about!

thnx. no wat, you have to know her well to get the last part. i showed it to her and she laughed so hard at the end. it almost feels like an inside joke.
