emotion

How can I say this
You two are exactly alike
Except one of you keeps quiet
And the other lets it slip out.

You read each others faces
With an exceptional ease
But you get mad when one of you
Can't keep that poker face.

You two are best friends
It's just plain obvious
But since that title
You've spoken your mind.

I love you to pieces
I really do
But if those little things affect you
It'll hurt you in the end.

Nice. Who's this about? It's really good! You should post these on CWP, too! That way you can get more feedback and we can REBEL!

It's an interesting stance for a poem, because you're mediating instead of just taking a side. The first stanza makes me picture you standing between two girls who are reluctantly facing each other on folding chairs. Check your punctuation- you're missing a letter in "each other's".

My favorite line: "You read each other's faces/With an exceptional ease"

Thanks! it's about 2 of my best friends. I love them to death, but they are such good friends that they can read each other's emotions easily, the can have terrible fights, and they will just go at it. I'm really just saying, that since you have become best friends, you have fought harder, but you need to remember you do that cause you love each other.
